Have you battled your weight or body image most of your life?

Are you tired of trying every new diet and workout plan only to get frustrated with the lack of results and quitting?

Are you sick of hearing just eat less and exercise more?

Are you just plain exhausted?

I have always been busy, driven, productive. I could juggle a whole lot of stress and detail, survive on very little sleep, no water or bathroom breaks, ok food and get up the next day to do it all over again. I had a really tough time understanding people who couldn’t just get it all done.

Until a couple of years ago when I decided to make a major life change and the fear of it overwhelmed me.

I couldn’t get out of bed – sometimes it would take me 3 hours to lift the covers. I was exhausted but couldn’t sleep.

If I managed to get to sleep, I’d wake up in the middle of the night and lie there for hours.

It was like pushing a car uphill. There were days where I would look at a flight of stairs and not know if I could make it to the top.

My body shut down and I didn’t know what to do.

It turns out I had adrenal fatigue.

Too many years of not taking care of myself, no – let’s be honest, too many years of not liking myself had finally caught up to me.

I’ve always been a bigger girl but I had gained over 60lbs in the past eight years. I needed to lose the weight and permanently.

And I did.

And it was so hard.

But I learned to take care of myself.

It was my lesson. And I was a tough one to learn.

When people ask me how I've managed to drop nearly 90 lbs., I'm often tempted to give them a long list of all the things I did (Intermittent Fasting, Bootcamp, No Sugar, Bulletproof Coffee, Meditation, and the list would go on and on and on).

The truth is... none of that worked until I did the work on myself.

When I dealt with the emotional stuff - the reasons I was protecting myself - and hiding in my own life - that’s when the weight started falling off and it continues to do so.

Because we all know that it’s not as easy as eating less and exercising more🏋️‍♀️. As a good friend of mine says, it’s not as simple as choosing 🥦 over chips.

I did that - every day for 6 months and nothing changed. And I was so FRUSTRATED.

So if you’re reading this, thinking ugh summer’s coming and nothing in my closet fits, I get it.

Me too.

But this time it’s because everything is too big and that’s the BEST reason to go shopping.

Let’s get to the root of it. And I guarantee we won’t be talking about calories or workouts.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if the weight was never an issue ever again.?

To feel confident and comfortable in your own skin. To have fun bathing suit👙 shopping - yup I said it and it IS possible.

I know because I do.

The mind is divided between the conscious and unconscious (or as some call it, the subconscious).

Our unconscious mind accounts for 90%. It is super powerful. It’s main job is to preserve and run our body. We don’t have to consciously think, heart beat, lungs breathe, cells divide and multiple. When you get a cut, your body heals it. When you’re pregnant, you don’t have to think - ok, today I need to grow my baby’s heart.Your mind and body know what it needs to do.

Your unconscious mind also organizes all of your memories. It’s where your beliefs, values and your behaviours reside.

Most people approach change by making a conscious effort. The conscious mind is 10% and is either working with or against the other 90% in the unconscious mind.

If you’re having trouble making a change, it’s often not about more effort, more willpower. There’s something in your unconscious mind - a negative emotion, a pattern of behaviour or a belief that’s not serving you anymore.

I use a number of tools, including hypnosis with my clients to make the changes they want at the unconscious level so that it’s easy, healthy and permanent.

Have you ever zoned out while driving or watching a movie? That’s trance. It is a state of relaxation and heightened imagination. It is most often compared to daydreaming or very deep mediation. You are fully conscious, but you tune out most of the stimuli around you. You focus intently on the subject at hand, to the near exclusion of any other thought.

Your sense of safety and morality remain entrenched throughout the experience. A hypnotherapist can't get you to do anything you don't want to do.

It is very effective for accessing your own inner resources such as confidence, self worth, happiness, etc. making it easier to get through the everyday and meet your life goals.

  • We’ll ask you some questions and do detailed personal history to discover not what you think - but HOW you think. We’ll get to the ROOT of the problem and all the strategies you have around it.

  • Unlike therapy where you can spend years talking about the problem, this is the ONLY time you’ll talk about it and only for about an hour.

  • And then we'll start to release stuff that’s keeping you stuck. We don’t park it, we dissolve it.

Unlike therapy or traditional life coaching, I use the most transformational tools that creates change at the neurological level.

It's fast, effective and fun.

Most of my clients report feeling so much better and seeing immediate results - often after the very first session.
